Jambay Caribbean is an absolute gem! The food is incredible, giving you that authentic, home-cooked feeling. My boyfriend and I were thoroughly impressed with everything we tried. J was very attentive and all round great vibes. He allowed us to add plantain to the curry goat wrap which was incredible and certainly filled me up. The service was incredibly attentive and was frequently given updates on the progress of the meal. Incredible vibes, incredible food. If you’re in the area you must pay a visit. I will certainly be back again.

This is an excellent Caribbean food outlet serving from a very unassuming hatch in a wall tucked away off the main road in North Stokey. That's good news for us locals because this part of Hackney, unlike Dalston is not well served with authentic Caribbean cuisine. I know cuisine is a big word, but I had the jerk chicken and it was absolutely perfect. Meat succulent, fell off the bone nice, smokey (very)crispy and spicy. Served by a charming young man front of house. Will definitely return, next time I'll try a goat wrap. Sadly I have no picture of the meal I ate because it was so delicious I just ate it straight away

So I was in Finsbury park hungry and craving some yard (PROPER JAMAICAN) food, so i looked online too see what was around and tbh this was the only place that stood out and JamBaY !!DID NOT!! disappoint at all. Honestly EVERYTHING I ordered was / well seasoned and cooked to perfection & I'm very critical when it comes to oxtail. The fried dumplings and fried chicken was fried on the SPOT so you know the food is Freshly cooked, but i honestly didn't mind the wait. That was the real definition of a proper home cooked meal. Portion sizes was good and well packaged great value for money & also VERY FRIENDLY service. Also the grape punch SLAPPED. Thank You JamBaY will DEFINITELY be Returning.
